It was November 25th, 2020, when they noticed each other but too shy to say anything. Chantelle knew that following Monday, November 30th, she was going to find out who the new employee was and introduce herself. However, God had different plans. Chantelle was exposed to Covid and was forced not to return to work for three weeks. Daniel had it in mind to speak to Chantelle after the holiday but had not seen her after the holidays thinking "oh no, she must have found another job." Then one magical day in 2021 Daniel noticed Chantelle was back at work wearing her yellow shirt with her bouncing curly hair and gray pants. It was his opportunity to make his move as she escorted him to his desk, but nope he said nothing but "how are you?" But he made sure to pay attention every time she got up to go the cafeteria to warm up her breakfast. Then one fine day in March 2021 Daniel saw Chantelle walk pass with her breakfast and head to the break room. Daniel knew this was his moment and met her in the break room. Chantelle noticed Daniel had the same breakfast as she, good ol' Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal and sparked a conversation about how great apple cinnamon oatmeal is. Unbeknownst to Chantelle, Daniel knew Chantelle would have apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast that day. From that brief moment in the break room, they have been inseparable. It was after that day Chantelle would attend Daniel's recreational football games and secretly cheer for him on the sidelines. Daniel knew in October 2022 that Chantelle was the one and made sure to find the perfect ring and made plans to propose to her in the Bahamas of December 2022 for her birthday in front of her friends and brothers. And once again, God had different plans and Chantelle broke her ankle causing the trip to the Bahamas to be canceled. But that didn't stop Daniel. As soon as Chantelle was able to walk unassisted and travel. He planned a trip to Fort Myers, Florida in which Chantelle thought it was to visit long time family friends "The Ricketts". Daniel had this plan all along to propose to Chantelle on the beach during Sunset. Chantelle clearly had no clue the proposal was going to take place as she refused to get her nails done and pack her favorite outfit, although Daniel tried to warn her. Needless to say, she said "yes" with busted nails and a semi cute outfit. With all that being said, with God's favor and our families' blessings.
